Mr. Swaddling is an Executive Professor in the School of Management at Capital University, Columbus, Ohio. He held several senior-level corporate positions in the computer services industry for nearly twenty years before founding the management consulting firm, Insight•MAS. Recent and current consulting clients include organizations such as Hewlett-Packard, General Electric, Battelle, and the U.S. General Services Administration. His consulting and teaching interests include product and service innovation, the changing balance of power in the buyer-seller relationship, and the practical implementation of marketing theory. He is a frequent public speaker and author, including the book, Customer Power: How to Grow Sales and Profits in a Customer-Driven Marketplace, co-authored with Charles Miller, Ph.D. in 2001.
