COLUMBUS, Ohio - Capital football fans are encouraged to ‘white out' the competition this Saturday by wearing white to the Homecoming game against Mount Union, which begins at 1:30 p.m. Gates open at Noon and all tickets will be sold on game day.
Bernlohr Stadium is expected to be sold out on Saturday and all Crusader fans in attendance are asked to wear white in support of Capital. The Capital University Student-Athlete Advisory Council will be selling white CAP CRU T-Shirts all week in the athletics office as well as at the game on Saturday for just $7.
Fans can also take advantage of CAP FEST beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, which is a Homecoming tradition at Capital featuring games for kids, live music and food. CAP FEST is scheduled to be held in the plaza at the center of campus near the newly completed fountain with a rain location of the Capital Center fieldhouse.
Tickets for Saturday's game are only $5 for adults and $1 for children. OAC and Crusader All-Sports Passes will be accepted. All seating in Bernlohr Stadium is general admission.
#21/22 Capital is off to a 4-0 start for the fourth consecutive season and will play host to defending NCAA Division III and OAC Champion #1/1 Mount Union for just the second time in the last seven meetings between the two programs. The game is one of only two in the nation to pit two nationally ranked teams in NCAA Division III against each other this week.
