SAAC SPONSORING OTTERBEIN WEEK ACTIVITIES

Beat otterbeinThe Capital University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is encouraging CU fans to support the Crusader volleyball and football teams as they take on rival Otterbein this Saturday.  Capital volleyball will play host to Otterbein at 11 a.m. before a student bus leaves to attend the football game in Westerville.

Cap Fans can get ready for the big day which also includes an OAC home soccer doubleheader by purchasing a SAAC "Beat Otterbein" T-Shirt from the athletics office for only $10.  Capital students can also sign up for ride a bus to and from the Capital-Otterbein Football game from now until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.  Students MUST show a CAP ID for each person that will RSVP.  All seats are first come-first served.

The action then begins with the Crusader volleyball team looking to clinch home court advantage for the first round of the OAC Tournament as it takes on Otterbein at 11 a.m.  Buses will then be leaving for the football game at 1:00 p.m. and will be there in time for the 2:00 p.m. kickoff.

All fans who plan on attending the football game at Otterbein can receive FREE admission with the donation of a canned food item at the gate.

Capital and Otterbein will meet for the 83rd time on Saturday in football and for just the second time as ranked opponents.  CU holds a 41-38-3 lead in the series.  Capital (5-1, 4-1 OAC) is ranked No. 14 while Otterbein (6-0, 5-0 OAC) is No. 10 in this week's D3Football.com Top 25 Poll.
