You're thinking about changing careers and getting into nursing. But you already have a degree and you don't want to spend another few years getting a second (or third) degree. Now you don't have to.
The Capital Nursing Accelerated Program (C-NAP) is a pre-licensure bachelor of science in nursing degree program designed for people who have completed a baccalaureate or higher degree in a non-nursing field.
The program packs a complete nursing degree into 20 months of full-time study. This means that the length of the program start to finish is shorter than a traditional undergraduate program, but the outcome is the same. The C-NAP even includes a third of the classes you would need to complete a master in science in nursing. Continuing your education and advancing is that much easier once you have settled into your new nursing career.

What Degree do You Earn?
When you graduate, you will have a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) degree. You will be eligible to apply to any state Board of Nursing to be licensed and to take the NCLEX-RN licensure exam.
The nursing accelerated program is built on the same nursing science foundation as Capital's excellent bachelor and master degree programs and is supported by the same mission, philosophy and conceptual framework that has made Capital's School of Nursing what it is today.
Key Features of the Accelerated Program
- You will attend five terms, each lasting approximately 15 weeks. See our Sample 20-Month Schedule.
