COLUMBUS – Capital University will recognize seven with athletics awards including four new members of the Capital University Athletics Hall of Fame at a dinner following the first home football game of the fall on September 19.

Post player Adam Johns will be asked to taked one more of a leaderhsip role with the men's basketball team in the upcoming season after the departure of eight players off a squad that advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2008-2009. Learn more about Adam in this feature from Bryan DeArdo.

Former Capital men's basketball player David Kalb (2003-2005) made an appearance in an episode of "Pros vs. Joes" on Spike TV. The episode will air for the first time on Monday, May 11 at 11 p.m. ET. The link above is a sneek peek of that episode.

Capital University senior wing Nate Stahl earned his second All-America award as he was named an Honorable Mention All-American by D3hoops.com. Stahl was also a First Team All-America selection by the NABC.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Capital University trio of seniors Nate Stahl and Ryan Wood along with Head Coach Damon Goodwin earned the highest honors in the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Region from the National Association of Basketball Coaches on Thursday.

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Three senior members of the Capital University men’s basketball team were awarded Ohio Athletic Conference All-Academic team honors on Tuesday following voting conducted amongst the OAC’s faculty athletics representatives. Ryan Wood and Casey Brown were All-Academic honorees while Jake Fanning was an Honorable Mention selection.
