MINNEAPOLIS – Senior guard Kristen Richardson was selected as one of the Top 25 players in the nation as a D3hoops.com Preseason Honorable Mention All-America selection on Friday. Richardson is the only Ohio Athletic Conference player on the list.

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Both of the Capital basketball teams were picked to finish near the top of the Ohio Athletic Conference standings this winter. The Crusader women were selected to defend their OAC Regular Season Title from one year ago while the men were selected to finish third in the OAC Preseason Coaches Poll which was released on Wednesday.

After over seven months since the Capital women’s basketball team last stepped onto the court, head coach Dixie Jeffers is anxious and optimistic heading into her 24th season as coach of the Crusaders.

COLUMBUS – Capital University will recognize seven with athletics awards including four new members of the Capital University Athletics Hall of Fame at a dinner following the first home football game of the fall on September 19.
