Gantner has overcome his share of injury setbacks and has become a leader on the Crusader football squad. Gantner talked with sports information assistant Bryan DeArdo about his obstacles, the life of a punter, and what it is like to play both high school and college football with quarterback Marty Assmann.
I WILL - Matt HeagenMiddle linebacker Matt Heagen is one of the remaining links from the 2006 Crusader football team that at one point was ranked third best in the nation. Now a senior who has recently overcome a knee injury, Heagen talked with sports information assistant Bryan DeArdo about how he and the team will look to link together to pursue a national championship.

CRUSADER DUO NAMED TO OAC ALL-ACADEMIC FOOTBALL TEAMAUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Capital University football players Marty Assmann and Pete Ankrom were each named to the Ohio Athletic Conference All-Academic Team on Wednesday following a recent vote conducted amongst the faculty athletics representatives from the conference.
