Capital has an analog phone system. If you want a land line, you should either bring or buy a phone for your room. Otherwise, just bring your cell phone.
If you do opt for a land line, you have two options for receiving messages through Capital's phone system. You can bring your own answering machine, or you can ask us to set up a voice mail account for you on our network.
You don't have to live on campus to ask for and receive a Capital voice mail account. Many commuter students prefer to keep school-related voice mail messages off their work, home or cell phones. Capital voice mail can be accessed from any phone, on or off the Capital campus.
