It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere I go. It's that time of year again.... Candy and desserts are being consumed left and right, people are packed into malls and shopping centers like sardines, students are decorating their dorms with twinkling lights, radio stations are playing holiday music non-stop and I'm...I'm trying to get through finals! I make it sound worse than it is for me. I am very fortunate to have very few final exams. I'm mostly just writing final papers and finishing up different projects and such. It's all practically downhill after this week....hopefully that hill isn't snowy or icy. I can't take slipping on sidewalks any longer.

I'm really looking forward to this whole 3-full-weeks-off school business. It seemed as though Christmas Vacation along with other breaks got shorter and shorter throughout my 13 years of public education prior to college. Maybe I was just sleeping longer and longer. Time flies while you're fast asleep. In any case- yes. Marta is looking forward to Christmas break. It's been fun enjoying some of the holidays here at school with everyone. We've had some fun Christmas movie nights already in our cozy room. My roomate and I also walked around the halls and "spread cheer" by handing out cookies her mom had baked. Peanut Butter+Chocolate=Amazing. Yes, I think we made a few more friends in the building that night. It has been known that we often have homemade cookies in our room we are willing to share. What wonderful neighbors we are!

Not to be outdone by Mary Ann's photo of HER door, I am sharing with you some pictures from "Candy Land" in the Admissions Office where I work. The door decorating contest in Yochum Hall is in full swing. If you are on campus in the next few weeks, it is definately worth checking out. I can take credit for the M&M door. This post is dedicated to my faithful readers in the Admissions Office! I wouldn't want to listen to Holiday radio, door decorate and discuss Christmas with anyone else but you! Please Leave Comments! I'd love to hear from you! (This is coming from a girl who checks both email accounts AND her facebook every time she sits down at her desk. I'll read your comments!)
