Well now that everything is working with the new web page, let the posting begin. Let’s see, a recap from Thanksgiving. It was GREAT to see the whole family. And the food…oooooo…so nice. I, my father, and my grandpa all carved the massive turkey, and it was delicious! I think that I single-handedly ate my weight in food over that short break.
As the break closes the school work gears up yet again. This is the last stretch before the end of the semester and that of course means…FINALS. Those are coming up next week. Actually, I really don’t mind them; they’re just yet another test that you’ll have to take in your not so short college career. And as long as you’ve studied (at least a little) you should do just fine. However, I must warn that they aren’t easy and the weeks leading up to them are extremely hectic. Here’s a preview of my week; had a Chemistry exam yesterday (Monday), turned in a paper today, another exam Thursday, two finals next Tuesday, and another one or so the following Thursday. All this while working and keeping up with the demands of college life. But it’s definitely manageable.
Then after that comes the much anticipated Christmas break which will be excellent. I’ll be going home the last day (Thursday). It will be very nice to see everyone at home again and be able to spend time with them. I’ll be working at the local hospital as a PCT (Patient Care Tech), so that will be good experience and the money is always needed. I will also get to go hunting with my father over break, something that I couldn’t do after Thanksgiving due to classes and work. It’s great; it’s just us, and none of the stresses of “everyday” life. And of course Christmas, what more need I say? The food, the family, the gifts are just like an extra bonus. Hopefully I’ll be able to hook up with all the friends here over break and just chill. They’re awesome. Well, I’d better keep moving and get to the numerous things that I must do.
