Well, the holiday have officially come and gone. That also means that the start of the second semester is also coming up.
The first semester finished up pretty good. Ended up with a 3.6 GPA. Not a bad start, could be better, but not bad. I aced my nursing final, a 100%. I walked out of that exam feeling pretty good, but dang, didn’t think it’d be that good! Needless to say, it’s a good start for the nursing education. I also learned from my blunder first semester of 8am classes. This second semester I have none!!! The earliest is 9, but that’s not bad, still another hour of much needed sleep. Plus it was the only one that would work into my schedule. Some classes that I’m taking next semester: Medical Term., Oral Communication, Honors Religion, a TON of Biology and even more Chemistry (but that’s what you expect in nursing), and believe it or not, Yoga. I needed another class to fill up some Gen. Ed. hours and Yoga was available, lol. It will be the only class that I’ll have Tuesdays, and my one buddy got into it just by happenstance. He had to do the same thing and took it as well, total coincidence. It should be interesting…ha!
If you didn’t know already, Van Wert is a “small town”. I’ll give you an example. Probably the biggest thing that’s happened in the last 4-5 months is that a Super Wal-Mart has opened… Yup, exciting stuff. Hours upon hours can be spent their, wandering aimlessly throughout. I think I’ll pass, lol. It has been nice to be home though. Got to start back working at the hospital and spent some time assisting in surgery, that was a treat. I love working their, they’ve got a great group of people and do excellent work. It’s also great experience for nursing. Miss all of the friends tremendously from Capital. Can’t wait to get back to Columbus and see them all. As always, it was great to see the family and get to spend time with everyone. Yet another plus about the holidays. Well that’s all for now.
