Winter Break Is Almost Over...

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful break! I most certainly did, and now I'm sad to see it go. I spent most of my time relaxing at home, but I also did a few exciting things! I was able to attend weekly youth services on Wednesday nights and spend quality time with my friends from high school afterwards. We went out to eat and we also stopped over at a friend of mine's house for a get together. It was really nice to see a few of the people I graduated with.

I also spent time with my parents while at home. My mom and I shopped and went to lunch with eachother, and my dad joined us for a late night outing at the movies. But perhaps my favorite memory with my family over break is the one that we created this past Christmas Eve. We waited until ten o'clock that night, to ensure that both of my little cousins had fallen asleep. Once they did, we got together and spent hours setting up their Christmas toys. We also took them over to their house later on. We wanted my cousins to have a really special holiday. We got a call at 7 o'clock the next morning about "Santa" and all of the toys "he brought", so I think it's safe to say that we accomplished that goal! The rest of the Christmas holiday was a great deal of fun as well! My family and I exchanged wonderful gifts and spent hours at our house, eating and laughing.

For me, this was a wonderful New Year as well! In addition to spending time with a friend of mine from high school, I got to spend time with my wonderful boyfriend! He drove all the way from Cleveland just to see me! :-) We spent most of our first day in '06 together at Easton. It was really a lot of fun! The next morning, before he left, we met and went to breakfast. I miss him already...but he'll be back to visit soon!

In the mean time, as far as I'm concerned, it's back to class! My main focus this semester at Cap is good grades! I'm also excited to see my third floor girls. Nights at home were entirely too quiet without them! I missed my roomie and all of our wonderful "neighbors"!

That's pretty much it for now! I'll write more soon. I wish everyone the best of luck going into the new semester!
