It's Just Another Manic Monday (whoah-ohh)

The ever fabulous 80's pop-rock group said it all.  Today was just another manic Monday- although it's interesting.  The past three weeks that we had off for break were anything but manic or hectic for me...Monday's were just like every other day.  If you read my "Top 5 Things to Do Over Break" entry, it is safe to say my schedule did not sway far from those 5 things.  I stayed equally unproductive and
couch-bound for most of break- and it was wonderful.
I spent a relaxing Sunday afternoon moving all my stuff to my room while watching the Steelers whomp on the Bengals (proud to say I'm a Pittsburgher!) With all the rest and relaxation, it comes at no surprise that a full-scheduled Monday hit me like a ton of bricks. (in a "I'm glad I'm not bored at home" kinda way)
First off, I hadn't seen the light of day at 8am since the conclusion of LAST semester's 8am class.  I've got some mighty neat and interesting classes this semester as I slowly dig deeper into my major- so thats rockin'.
I also resumed my faithful allegiance to the admissions office with my first day back on the job.  Did I mention I'm also a student ambassador? C'mon out to Columbus...I'll give ya a tour!

I think the highlight of my day, after all the fun of getting back into a daily routine, was working out!  The link between working out as a typical New Years commitment and me saying it was the highlight of my day might raise some eyebrows with suspicion. I really did enjoy my time in the Capital Center. I it was largely due to the fact that my dearest roomate Kate joined me.  It was her first time EVER joining me to work out.  It was a lovely bonding time- and by bonding I mean intently reading People Magazines while pedaling and listening to our MP3 players.  In any case, we worked off some calories while having fun....and according to Richard Simmons- thats what exercising is all about. And who's gonna argue with that man.

I feel it only fitting to conclude by revisiting my first point.  Since I started with those manic Bangles..I leave you with a funny conversation I heard between two people. I promise to my Cinci readers this is my last jab towards their team.

Anonymous Friend #1- "I'm really not into football. I don't care who wins between the Steelers and the Bangles"
Anonymous Friend #2- "Umm...I don't really care either...but I would hope that the Steelers could beat the 80's glam rock group"

Goodnight!
