Rocky J. Reuter

Dr. Reuter was appointed assistant dean of the Conservatory in 2008 after serving 21 years as a professor of composition, music technology, and contemporary music ensembles. Prior to becoming dean, his academic resume included:

An accomplished and award-winning composer, Reuter writes original music in a wide variety of styles for a vast array of instrumental, vocal, and electronic ensembles and soloists. He has been commissioned by numerous ensembles and soloists and is regularly performed at contemporary music festivals, conferences, and university concert series; at regional, national, and international music events; and his compositional residencies have included:
