On January 19, at 3:09 pm, a wonderful thing happened…baby Anna Mae was born!!! The proud parents were my aunt and uncle; Lisa and Richard. They will be wonderful parents! Anna weighed 7 lbs., 13 oz. and was 20 in. long. Completely healthy and tremendously beautiful, I have to add.
That Thursday I was in lab until about 4 or so. After we had finished, I rushed out to go to Riverside to try to get there before she was born, but as I left I got a very excited call from my mother stating that we had an addition to our family! I quickly sped to Riverside and got to see the newborn, the family, and the very happy (and tired) parents.
Once everyone got to the room they were staying I actually got to hold my new cousin!!!! I couldn’t believe it, she was so tiny! And so mellow, just relaxed. Needless to say the entire room was filled with people that do and will love and care about her very much. After visiting for some time, I finally returned back to Capital with a smile on my face that couldn’t be removed!
