Adjunct Professor in the Conservatory of Music at Capital University and Professor Emeritus from Binghamton University, holds the Artist Diploma from the Peabody Conservatory, and Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from Yale University. Fink has also taught at SUNY-Buffalo, Vassar College, and the Yale School of Music. His numerous solo and chamber appearances in the United States and Europe have included USIA tours in Germany and performances in England, France and Switzerland. He has recorded on the CRI label.
Professor Fink is the author of numerous articles and of the highly acclaimed book and video, Mastering Piano Technique, published by the Amadeus Press. He is the co-chair of the Committee on Wellness, Movement, and Technique. On Demand as a presenter of workshops and master classes on piano techniques and its pedagogy, he brings to these occasions a wealth of European and American educational experience, worldwide observation of the pianistic scene, and over 45 years of college and university teaching experience.
