Jan Linker has taught Organ Studio at Capital since 1972. She is an active clinician for organ and church music workshops and seminars throughout the Midwest and specializes in the teaching of hymn playing and hymn improvision.
Her teachers have included Marjorie Jackson Rasche, Marilyn Mason and Han Vollenweider. She has published 60 organ/handbell and keyboard/handbell works and 12 books of organ music. Her music is published by Beckenhorst, Concordia, Morning Star, Sacred Music Press, Lorenz, Augsburg, Belwin, AGEHR and Celebrations Unlimited.
She is a performer at the Ohio Theatre and is the Organist at Trinity United Methodist Church in Upper Arlington.
