Long time, eh? Well, for good reason that is. School is busy as ever! Finally made it to spring break now, back in ol Van Wert for a little over a week. However boring this town may seem, it sure is nice to be able to catch up on my sleep!
Second semester is going well. It’s about right in the middle of the semester, grades are doing well. Work load is quite full, but hey, so is the life of a nursing major. Besides, all good things require hard work!
Let’s see, in the past two weeks, I’ve joined a fraternity on campus; Delta Tau Upsilon (DTU) to be exact. I could go on for quite some time about the gentlemen within the organization and there sheer awesomeness but I will refrain at the current moment to spare you and myself quite some time. We’ve been doing “new member education” for the past two weeks and that has kept me quite busy. But Greek Life is quite an experience, something that everyone should at least look into sometime during there time at Capital University. I’m sure glad that I did and look forward to the years to come within the great organization of DTU!
Another thing about being home that you never realize how much you’ll miss until you’re gone is home cooked food. Come on, all you current college students know what I’m talking about! My oh my, how well I’ve eaten these past couple days, momma Steele can sure whip up some darn good meals. Also, the luxury of being able to cook food for yourself, heck, I took delight in just making myself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich the other day!
Alright, I think that the couch and a movie of some sort involving Will Ferrell is calling my name. Catch you all later!
