Spring's coming.

What an awesome day today.  Right about 50 degrees outside with the sun shining.  Spring is right around the corner.  And with the weather conditions we (myself and the other brothers of DTU) had to of course break out a game of wiffle tennis!  It was a hard fought match (not sure exactly who won), but I did pretty good myself.

Got to see some of the family on Sunday.  Both grandparents, my aunt, and my baby cousin!!!  She’s getting quite big, 14 lbs. right now I think.  She’s to the point now where she can smile and start to laugh, it’s great.  And of course, you know who she smiled to the most…..haha!

Last week was busy.  Big Chem. exam and such.  This week doesn’t look to bad.  Starting to schedule tomorrow on-line, next year looks crazy busy but that’s to be expected with nursing.  It’ll be worth it.

Gotta finish some laundry and go to bed.  Got to get up fairly early tomorrow.  Later!

I hope school is going good for you. I'm a junior in high school and so afraid of leaving home to go to college. I am seriously considering Capital because it sounds amazing. I want to ask you a quastion. Is there anything to be afraid of in college? I mean...is it hard to get along without having your family pushing the whole way? Well, maybe I'll see you around campus someday. Thanks, hope I didn't bug you.
    Sincerly yours,

    Brittany,

You've got nothing to worry about! You concerns are completely normal for a soon incoming college student. Not a thing to be afraid of, you'll know if your ready. Not having your family "push you" is not a problem, it allows you to fully explore you passions and interests that you have. Your family will undoubtedly support you, which will be great, but as college should be, it is up to you to succede. As far as Capital, I have no regrets or second thoughts at all, it's perfect for me. You'll know.
    Hope this helps!!!
    Matt
