End of the year

So I guess a recap of my first year is in order.  Ah, yeah, that's gonna be pretty hard to do just in words.

First semester went by extremely quick and was a time of tremendous change, obviously.  Class is class, in some instances more difficult then high school, which it should be and you meet a ton of more people.  You begin to grow and truly become yourself and are forced to make important decisions regarding your life everyday.  Freedom is something that you obviously have and it can either make or break you depending on how you use it.  You will meet some of your TRUE best friends and will depend upon them more than you can ever imagine.

Second semester only builds upon the first.  More things begin to happen, you can become more involved on campus or wherever else you would like.  Class get harder (depending on your major) and you begin to see if you really are cut out for you major along with if you are truly at the right place.

All in all, great.  Sure, at first, it’s scary, confusing, overwhelming, etc. etc. but it’s a necessary progression in many (not all) people’s lives.  Their will most definitely be amazing times when all seems well and then just the opposite, sometimes it will seem terrible, but that is life.  With the great friends and family and faith, everything will work itself out.  I can’t wait for my next year of college and the years after that.  Hopefully your experience will be at least half as positive as mine was.

Matt- I went to orientation last weekend and had a great discussion with you. Your comments were very encouraging and put my mind more at ease with sending my daughter to Capital. I hope Tiffany finds the experience as rewarding as you did. Thanks for making yourself available to us.
    Sincerely,
    Bryan McGuire
