Capital owns and operates a radio studio in Huber-Spielman Hall and TV studio in the Blackmore Library on our main campus. The TV studio, shown here, is the stage for Skyline Columbus and houses all our production facilities.
Radio and Television
In the world of TV and radio, exciting things are happening. Reality shows are creating loads of opportunities for ambitious producers and camera crews. Videos are streaming over the Web, creating and reaching new audiences. Documentaries are more popular than ever. And thanks to the Internet, radio has found a fresh new voice.
As a radio-television major at Capital, you'll be well-positioned to exploit these trends. You will benefit from:

A Focus on Hands-On Learning
Capital's radio-television majors are constantly using their classroom knowledge at the sound board, in the editing booth and in front of the camera. You will have many opportunities to:
- Work with the latest in digital and analog equipment
- Learn to edit video with non-linear editing systems used by leading professionals
- Practice TV and video production techniques in our fully equipped television studio
- Help produce our award-winning local cable program, Skyline Columbus
- Help anchor or produce TuttleVision, our department's joint venture with the marketing department of the Mall at Tuttle Crossing
- Complete as many as three off-campus internship experiences

There's no better way to develop your interests and learn the ropes than to work where real TV and radio are made. By the time you graduate, you will have had as many as three internship experiences at:
