Instrumental Emphasis
Our instrumental emphasis is a practical approach to an advanced degree. This three-summer program has been carefully designed to meet the educational needs of instrumental music teachers.
Kodály Emphasis
The Kodály Institute at Capital has been was established in 1980 and is one of the few schools in the United States to offer special tracks of study for elementary teachers, secondary choral music teachers, and instrumental teachers.
Jazz Pedagogy Emphasis
Beginning summer 2008, the Jazz Pedagogy emphasis summers-only program will give you the opportunity to interact with some of today’s finest jazz educators and to enhance and enrich your teaching career. A new instructional model for contemporary educators, these courses have been carefully designed to meet the educational needs of music teachers.
