Starks Sets New Record in 200 Meters at Indy Twilight(INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.)--Capital University sophomore Jessica Starks (Akron/Akron East) set a new school record in the 200 meter dash (24.87) good enough for second place at the Indy Twilight Meet hosted by the University of Indianapolis at Indiana-Purdue Indianapolis (IUPUI).

Starks Named Sprinter of the Meet at OAC Championships(WILMINGTON, Ohio)-Capital University sophomore Jessica Starks (Akron/Akron East) won the 200 meters, finished second in the 100 meters and was part of the first place 4x100 meter relay team to earn Women's Sprinter of the Meet honors at the Ohio Athletic Conference Track & Field Championships in Wilmington, Ohio.

Dawn Mamula Named Athletic Director at Capital University(COLUMBUS, Ohio)-Capital University has announced that Dawn Mamula has been named Athletic Director. Mamula has been working in athletics administration for the past 10 years, with the last eight years at the University of Dayton. Most recently, she has been Assistant Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator in which her responsibilities included managing the department's $17-million dollar budget, and providing oversight to athletics communications, athletic academic affairs, student-athlete welfare issues, and the student-athlete life skills program along with serving as program administrator for the women's soccer and softball programs.
