So We Meet Again, Capital.edu
Thanks right, folks. They asked me if I would like to blog again this year. I said yes.
There is no way I can gauge your reaction to this-- soooo I'm going to assume you are absolutely thrilled because you liked hearing about my first year so much and are only assuming that my 2nd year posts will be nothing less than stellar. Am I right? Is that what you were thinking? Of course it was.
I moved in to Schaaf Hall last week and have been training since for fall orientation. The other Orientation Leaders and I are extremely pumped for all you new students to move in on Thursday. We've had some great days of training, friendly competition and lots of fun. If you are one of the 700+ students arriving on Thursday..all I can say is- be ready to "CAPture" one heck of a feeling!!
Although I was hoping my first dive back into this would be very Marta-like, complete with a theme and length and humor...alas- It's 11:00, and my summer as a camp counselor along with all this O.L stuff is very draining on a gal. I know, wait til I get into my 19 credit hours!
I think I will finish up the episode of Friends that I'm on and then call it a night.
You all have a pleasant evening, I am very excited to be blogging for you once again this year.
If any of you new students have any questions or concerns over the next couple of days, feel free to contact me through a response, facebook or e-mail! I would love to answer any last minute questions! (mdiehm@capital.edu)
I shall leave you with one of my favorite Friends quotes from this Brad Pitt Thanksgiving episode:
"Look at her standing over there with those yams. My two greatest enemies, Ross- Rachel Green, and complex carbohydrates"
(if I just lost you, I'm sorry....please come back and see me again!!!)
Thats it and thats all,
Marta
