Well, my name is Tishia Richardson, as you know and I'm from Hillsboro, Ohio a small town about an hour and a half south of Columbus. I'm a social work major at Capital, hoping to pursue a career in Substance Abuse/ Mental Health Counseling. I chose Capital because of the small town atmosphere, much like where I'm from, yet downtown columbus is just a short car ride away. My sister and brother in law are Capital grads and I also liked the internship opportunities that are made available to Capital students.
In high school I cheered for basketball and football, was NHS President, and coordinated our blood drives. At Capital, I'm currently a Capital Fund Phonathon worker, applying to be a student ambassador, joining the student social work association and hoping to learn more about the Chimes, our newpaper here at Capital. In my spare time I like to hang out with friends, family and my wonderful boyfriend, Shawn. I like bowling, watching hockey, football, and basketball games, listening to music and just having a good time.
