I Like Recital Attendance.

This place is great. I'm having so much fun.

I admit I'm soo tempted to be out doing fun stuff every night.

There's so much to do! Everynight it seems there's a meeting or an event.

I keep forgetting which meetings I'm supposed to be going to, which is bad, but i have been keeping up with my work in the mean time, which is good.

I did go the cap center to watch V for Vendetta on Wednesday. I wish that I could have stayed for the whole thing, but stuff happens and then you get tired.

Anyways... I thought they were supposed to keep you focused!

I love Fridays. I have one class in the morning. And then recital attendance.

Wow. Let me tell you a little bit about recital attendance. Recital attendance is a required 'class' for all conservatory students. I put the quotations there because it's not like any other class I've ever had to take. Every Friday morning at ten we meet and people perform. The first two weeks were wonderful. The first week one of the new professors performed an improv (his accompanist is was ill). Then this morning was a saxaphone solo accompanied by some type of electronic device. He would play a little bit and then record it, and then have that play in the background while he played another thing. It was sooo cool! After that was a jazz combo. They were amazing. I love jazz!

I'm really excited for next week.

I'm also really excited for this weekend. My friend Shane is visiting from Bowling Green. That'll be fun.

Well. I just wanted to write a little bit.

I'm sure I'll have plenty to tell about after this weekend! I can't wait.
