I haven't posted in a while because I've been so busy. I started my Capital Fund Phonathon job last night and it's going okay. I basically call alumni, ask for financial support and update them about whats going on around campus, and for those of you who don't know, there's alot going on. In addition to starting my phonathon job, I have training next week to be a Studnen Ambassador so that's sweet! If you come to visit campus, I might just be your tour guide! Classes have been keepin me super busy as well. For my volunteering for one of my social work classes I'm finally set up and ready to go to work at the drug rehab center I wanted to work at. I've had an interview and a background check for that this week so it's getting exciting.
Saturday is exciting because Capital is playing the Wilmington Quakers in football and guess what? My hometown, Hillsboro, Ohio is like half and hour away from Wilmington so I have some friends from there so that is exciting. I love football and have yet to go to a game, so I'm very anxious. My new discovery this week was the Crusaders Club, more commonly known as the Cru Club. I love goin there later at night. It's a good break from the normal, food court food, although the Capital Court, or MDR, as I've heard it called, offers some good stuff! It's really awesome because with a meal plan you also get flex bucks which can be used just like money at the Cru Club or to pay for a guest's meal at the food court!
Alright well I need to put some laundry in the washer and then my friend Rachel and I MIGHT go to starbucks. So ttyl !!!!!
