Social Work Major

So, I have started my service learning for one of my social work classes. I am volunteering at Maryhaven, a drug rehab center in columbus. I'm really liking it thus far. I am really interested in counseling so this will be a great experience. I have to do eight hours a week for the remainder of the semester. Along with being an ambassador, working at the Phonathon, and my 17 credit hours, I should be keeping pretty busy. My boyfriend and I decided it would be a good idea to be busy throughout the year so we will not miss each other so much, and yes, I'm busy, but I think I still miss him as much as I usually do. Anyways, I'm really enjoying my major, my professors are great, and are providing great instruction and knowledge about the field. I suggest social work to anyone interested in heling people on a one on one or even a community level.

In addition to my busy schedule, some girls on my hall and I have decided that Tuesday nights are House nights, for the awesome Tv show. Thursday nights will be Grey's Anatomy. Well, House is about to come one so I better wrap this up. Hope everyone is making room in their schedules for HOMECOMING on September 30th!! Until then, Adios!

I potentially have a position in children services as an investigator; however, if i take the position, i am required to complete a bachelor's program within four years of my hire date. I am wondering what your hours are and if the classes would fit into the unpredictable hours that accompany a children services case worker. many times the caseworkers do not leave the office until after 6pm. if i attended your college would i, realistically, be able to complete my degree within the alloted amount of time?
