So, I haven't written for a while and I feel that I'm due. Quite a bit has happend since my last entry. For one thing there have been two more amazing recital attendances. :D My friend Shane came down a couple weeks ago to visit. His response to Cap was basically "I wanna go here!" That was a fun weekend. We had a movie night and ordered pizza. I love pizza!
My roommate got fish! They're really cute. I don't remember what kind they are. But they're orange, and they're not goldfish.
I was elected one of the freshman representatives for band. I'm sooo very very excited about that. The other rep is my good good friend Sam. We get to help plan things, we're kind of an advisory board for the band.
Tonight is the band field day!
I'm really excited for that! It's gonna be a battle of the classes. Hopefully it stops raining because we can't play ultimate frisbee in the Christ Room.
But we can play cornhole! ha ha
Classes have been pretty hectic. I had my first big paper. I turned that in on Tuesday. It was for one of my gen. ed. courses "Honors Intro. To Political Science." It's a great class, if you find political science interesting, and the prof is wonderful! He doesn't give us answers. Ever. He makes us think and come up with our own ideas and answers. We had a quiz and people disagreed with him on the answer to one of the questions. We spent,.. probably a half hour discussing with him why the answer was what it was. It was just. I like that class a lot. I just wish I was able to participate more.
I've been getting help with piano and musicianship. Which is good. I feel like I can almost call myself a piano player. Craziness!
It's soo weird taking so many music classes, and they're all really intense. I don't even wanna talk about music lit right now. ha ha.
Well I feel like this blog is going nowhere. I thought I had a lot to write about. But perhaps I didn't. Regardless, I have to go with Sam to get the rope for Tug of War that's gonna happen at the band party!
