(CAMBRIDGE, Ohio)--Capital University's men's golf team finished in fifth place at the Fighting Muskie Fall Invitational, held Friday and Saturday at the Cambridge Country Club in Cambridge, Ohio.
Freshman Chas Manning (Granville/Granville) had the best finish for the Crusaders, ending in a tie for eighth place with a two-day total of 150 (74-76). Fellow freshman Dan Zaborsky (Dublin/Dublin Jerome) tied for 23rd with a 161 (80-81) and junior Mike Ott (Columbus/Franklin Heights) placed 28th with a 164, while freshman Jeff Klenke (Springfield/Springfield Catholic Central) rounded out the scoring with a 173.
The Crusaders return to action Tuesday at the Ohio Wesleyan Fall Invitational, held at Oakhaven G.C. in Delaware, Ohio.
