(DELAWARE, Ohio)-Capital University's men's golf team placed seventh out of 11 teams at the Ohio Wesleyan Fall Invitational at Oakhaven Golf Club in Delaware, Ohio.
Capital shot scores of 322 and 328 (650) to finish in front of four teams. Transylvania University (Ky.) (595) won the Invitational by a single shot over Otterbein College (596).
Freshman Dan Zaborsky (Dublin/Dublin Scioto) led the way for the Crusaders with a 20th place showing by shooting a 156 (79-77). Three other Crusaders who contributed to the team's score were freshman James Koon (Bexley/Bexley) with a 160, junior Mike Ott (Columbus/Franklin Heights) with a 166, and freshman Chas Manning (Granville/Granville) with a 168.
The Crusaders will compete this weekend in the Ohio Dominican Invitational at Cumberland Trail Golf Course in Pataskala, Ohio.
