Hello Blog-Readers!
This shall be a fairly quick post- I thought I'd give a little Homecoming Week hello to all the fabulous Cap Alumni out there..along with all my faithful blog readers. (And cause I want to see my new blog picture!)
Remember how I told you I was overscheduled AND overinvolved? Well, after next week, my overinvolvment commitments will be downsized dramatically. Along with being on University Programming's Homecoming Committee, I am also the Co-Coordinator for the Homecoming Court. I have been busy roundin' up all those pretty Class of 07 faces for their Homecoming Court duties and such. Saturday the King and Queen will be crowned and my job will be done. Sigh!
But wait- there's more. On top of all the Homecoming jazz, I am the planner for next week's Wicked Wednesday- Capital Iron Chef! That's right. It's gonna be quick the scrumptious showdown- and I'll be quite the happy camper when two of my major committments are DONE! I'm still figuring out how to deal with this whole 19-credit-hours thing...
But seriously folks, Homecoming Saturday is going to be pretty sweet. Masquerade baby! I absolutely love the tailgating and the Cap Fest and the crowded game and the dance. It's so collegiate- I think thats why I like it. Yep- I have realized that is why. Ya know when you were growing up you'd watch those movies that depicted college life and like big celebrations on campus and stuff? Well that's what Saturday reminds me of. God Bless cinema....and Capital.
