Deloitte & Touche LLP Exec Kenneth Weixel Joins Board of Trustees
Capital University has named Kenneth Weixel, a partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP, to its Board of Trustees.
Weixel, who earned a bachelor's degree from Capital 1980, serves as the national managing partner of the Health Plan Sector in the Life Sciences & Health Care practice of Deloitte & Touche LLP. He started his career with Deloitte 26 years ago, and has focused exclusively on life sciences and health care, increasing in responsibility as the managing partner of the Life Sciences & Health Care practices in Ohio, Los Angeles, the Western Region and currently the North Central Region.
Weixel spent three years building and leading the Life Sciences & Health Care Mergers & Acquisitions group, which serves many of the most substantial strategic and financial buyers, and three years leading the Provider sector nationally.
Weixel’s current responsibilities include leading all aspects of the Health Plan practice ranging from audit, tax, financial advisory and consulting services. The Health Plan practice is represented by more than 1,000 professionals in 50 offices across the country.
“Ken’s strong financial background, his demonstrated leadership accomplishments and his love for his alma mater all make Ken an excellent addition to our Board of Trustees,” said Board Chair Roger Davis.
Weixel will serve on the board’s Audit Committee and will attend his first meeting on Monday, Oct. 23.
