Wow.
School is hectic!
I was told all year senior year that classes would be harder and that there would be more work than ever, and I guess, I kind of didn't believe it.
Silly me! The coursework is so intense. It's not that it's extrememly difficult. It's just more involved and you have to think more. Which is certainly not a bad thing!
I don't know. I'm kind of rambling.
I miss all of my friends from high school. I mean, I love all of my new friends to death! But, I still miss my old friends. I'm excited because my high school's marching band is going to be in Columbus this weekend for a contest. About six of the seniors from last year are gonna be there. Including one of my friends I haven't seen since he went to Miami in the middle of August, oh wow. That feels sooo long ago!
I'm also excited to just see the band in general. They've been really successful so far this season. So I think it's safe to say I'm in for a good show!
Hmm, other than that, I'm passing all of my classes! Grades were posted on-line for freshman yesterday, and I'm doing okay. Which is good. VERY GOOD!
I've been trying to work on a list of things that I think conservatory freshman should know coming into Capital.
I'm having trouble though. My goal is ten items...
Maybe later today I'll try to post a list. I just need to sit for ten minutes and really think about it.
I'm gonna go do that.
