So. Just so much is going on here lately. I just really do not know where to begin. Last week I did my first tours of Capital throught my STUDENT AMBASSADOR job. I absolutely love it. It is so much fun. I love meeting prospective students becasue I know how much fun it was to go tour colleges when I was in High School! I studied ALOT over the weekend because I had one midterm exam today in my social work class and then I have two exams tomorrow, one in Health and one in Sociology. I worked on some future assignments too becasue I know how busy i'm going to be. A good thing about college - most everything is on the syllabus so you can do an assignment like weeks in advance if you know you're going to be busy.
I'm really excited about Wednesday. My Dad and stepmom offered me two tickets to go see the Ted Strickland Democratic rally featering the band Saving Jane. I like Ted Strickland and i love saving jane so that is awesome. I invited my good freind Katie to go with me. I'm not sure she likes ted Stricklnad but we like saving jane. Thursday my hall has a mandatory meeting, so that should be interesting becasue we havent had a hall meeting since fall orientation. I honestly do not see most of the girls on my hall, with an exception of my close freinds I've made here. There's like five of us. We hav tons of fun. Wednesday my friends and I are giong to the RA meeting, which is for anyone interested in becoming a Resident Assistant, which I think would be alot of fun.
Let's see. this coming Saturday is Sweetest Day. I love any reason to celebrate, especially with my boyfriend so that is cool. Then the day after, Sunday, my boyfriend and I wil have been together for ELEVEN months. YAY!
Oh, and next week is homelessness awareness week and since I'm a social work major and a member of the Student Social Work Assoc., I hopefully will be very involved next week. We're doing a shanty town, where we'll sleep in boxes on Thrusday night to raise awareness. We'll be doing activities all week so anyone on campus, check us out!
Well, this blog has been long enough. College life is awesome. I love it! I'll be scheduling my classes for next semester pretty soon. Time flies when you're havin fun! I can't believe I'm already thinking about next semster. It seems like just yesterday I was at sumemr orientation, just getting to knwo everyone.
