1. The Capital Court food is not all that bad. It has a variety and beats high school food any day.
2. My roommate and I have a sweet futon in our dorm!
3. Everyone is SO nice. I haven't met one person yet who did not take time with me, whatever my question. I was talking to a fellow ambassador today and she said, "You know what, I would never in my life go to another college" and I definately agree.
4. We are five minutes from downtown Columbus. My friends and I never have a problem finding something to do. I might be going to the Palace Theatre downtown to see a comedian in February, which is awesome bacuse where I'm from, stuff liek that doesn't exist.
5. Capital Crusaders Football is awesome. Our football team is really good and fun to watch.
6. My major rocks! I love my social work major, mainly becasue the professors are so helpful and very experienced.
7 My friends are sweet! All the people Ive met here so far are great, down to earth people, who are so easy to get along with. Its probably many people's fear that they will get to college and not make any friends. I don't know how that could happen at Capital because there is such a diverse group of students - everyone fits in.
8. Wicked Wednesdays are fun. Every Wednesday there are different activities planned - Survivor challenge, a comedian, and a "How well do you know your roommate" Game. This is a good break for the middle of the week.

10. The Education You Want. The Attention You Deserve. They're not kidding when they say this. If you can't get individual attention here, I don't knwo where you can get it. My biggest class is only like 25 students, if that. I absolutely love that. I feel like I can just walk up to my professor after class and ask any question I need answered.
Alright so now that you know all that, I'm sure EVERYONE wants to come to capital. It's awesome. Anyways, today was our Open House here for prospective students and I got to work which was great. I love meeting these students and parents. I love answering their questions and getting rid of all fears. I am also beginning some admission office work next week, hey, I figure I need alittle extra Christmas shopping money. I've been pretty busy with homework lately, since it's getting toward the end of the semester. I have a few papers and I'm going to the Writing Center ( it's free!) for someone to look over my paper with me and edit it. I think this is going to be so helpful! Well, anyways, I should be gettin off here, I need to go get my clothes out of the dryer.
