    Meet the Admissions Staff

    Capital University admission staff members are some of the kindest and most knowledgeable people on campus. It’s our job to know as much about this university as we possibly can! We love what we do and always strive to provide you with the highest level of service. Every prospective Capital student is assigned one of our staff members to guide you through the process. We are here to answer questions about majors, applying, scholarships, FAFSA, student life, Columbus, Bexley and more!     Deanna is an expert when it comes to transferring. She’ll tell you how your credits will transfer to Capital, and she’ll put you in touch with an academic adviser to map out which courses you’ll need to take once you get here. From credit evaluations to scholarship awarding, Deanna will make sure your college search process the second (or third) time around is a smooth one.

From cultural festivals, restaurants, parks, and international grocery stores, she spends her time exploring new places in this vibrant city (and she’s always happy to give recommendations!). Also a musician, you may see Sofia performing with bands around Central Ohio.

    As a former tour guide, Ashley coordinates our Student Ambassador Program and works hard to make sure our tour guides give you the best experience possible when you come to campus. After all, you want to know all the ins and outs of the place you will live for four years!

    Susanna loves to spend her free time enjoying live music and theatre, whether downtown watching a band you know from the radio or on campus listening to students she knows will be on the big stage soon. Coming from a small town to the big city could be intimidating, but she fell in love with Columbus. (In fact, she met some of her closest friends on her first bus ride.) She takes advantage of all this city has to offer - festivals, sports, restaurants and especially the music scene.

And as an expert event planner (having spent her undergrad at Capital as a board member for the event group AMP) she plans many of our campus events including scholarship competitions that award over 20 full-tuition awards each year.
