    2011: Posted a season-best time of 29:26.3 at the Inter Regional at Oberlin on Oct. 15 … also broke the 30-minute barrier at the OAC Championship (Oct. 29) with a mark of 29:38.1 … finished 63rd at the Pre-NCAC Invitational (Sept. 17) with a 30:17.4

    2010 (Sophomore): Consistently was Capital’s No.2 finisher though out the season…Broke the 30-minute barrier by running a 29:50 at the GLCA Championships (9/11)…Ran 25 seconds faster the following week at the Friendship Invitational (9/11), running a 29:25 for 91st place at the Friendship Invitational (9/18)…Improved his time ever more at the Otterbein Invitational (9/25), running a time of 29:19 for 76th place overall…Ran a season-best time of 29:02 at the Wilmington Classic (10/15)…Finished 87th in the OAC with his time of 29:05 at the OAC Championships (10/30).

    2009 (Freshman): Was Capital’s top runner on three occasions…Placed 14th with his time of 29:29 at the Wittenberg Invitational…Ran a 29:05 the following meet at the Friendship Invitational…Led the team with his time of 28:15 at the Wilmington Invitational…Tallied a career-best time of 27:54 to finish 71st in the conference at the OAC Championships…Competed and ran a 29:43 at the Great Lakes Regional Championships.

    Prep: Earned four letters in cross country, three in track, and one in baseball.

    Personal: Majoring in Nursing…Parents are Kevin and Sharon Nehrenz…attended Cloverleaf High School where he participated in cross country, track, and baseball…Bret’s favorite food would be tacos.
