    2011: Captain … played in all 10 games … gained 70 yards rushing on 18 carries … caught four passes for 29 yards … returned three kicks for 48 yards … Kicked an extra point and gained 31 all-purpose yards in the Crusaders’ season finale at Marietta on Nov. 12 … following the season, played in the OhioCollegeFootball.com Senior Bowl as a punter for the South team.

    2010: Appeared in eight games as a running back… Rushed 19 times for 89 yards in the season-opener at Baldwin-Wallace (9/11)… Tallied 86 yards, including a 24-yard run, on 15 carries in the win at Wilmington (9/18)… Scored his first collegiate touchdown on an eight-yard run while totaling 21 carries on 86 yards against Heidelberg (10/2). Also converted six extra points against the Student Princes… Carried the ball 23 times for 91 yards, including a 26-yard run, at nationally-ranked Ohio Northern (10/9).

    2009: Kicked two field goals (25, 38) and added four extra points in the win over Heidelberg (9/19)… Was 3-for-4 on field goals and a perfect 4-for-4 on extra points against Wilmington (9/26) to earn Ohio Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week honors… Booted three field goals and added four extra points in the win at Marietta (10/3)… A perfect 3-for-3 on point after tries against nationally-ranked Mount Union (10/10)… Converted all five of his point after tries at Muskingum (10/31) and rushed eight times for 42 yards… Kicked six extra points in the season finale against Baldwin-Wallace (11/14).


    2008: Kicked three extra points and added a 32-yard field goal at Heidelberg (9/20)… Booted two field goals (20, 22) and six extra points in the win over Wilmington (9/27)… Kicked a career-long 44 yard field goal and was a perfect 5-for-5 on extra points in the Homecoming win over Marietta (10/4).


    High School: Used as a punter, kicker, running back and wide receiver… Ran for over 800 yards as a senior… Rushed for a game-high 107 yards on 13 carries in a 2007 Division III regional quarterfinal playoff game… Earned 2007 Division III All-District recognition as a punter… Played in the 2008 Licking County-Muskingum Valley All-Star Football Game… Received 2007 Associated Press Division III All-Ohio Special Mention honors.


    Personal: Majoring in Nursing … Parents are Robert & Debbie Bennington … Played football for coach John Kelley at John Glenn High School, where he also participated in wrestling and track & field … Career ambition is to be a nurse … Greatest Capital memories are being on the football team and becoming a captain.
