2011: Competed in the GLCA Championship at Ohio Wesleyan on Sept. 10, where she ran a time of 25:17.8

2010 (Freshman): Joined a fray of teammates to form a formidable pack en route to a time of 22:43 at the All-Ohio Championships (10/1)…Earned a spot on Capital’s top-seven after running a 22:29 at the Wilmington Classic (10/15)…Was top-seven on squad for second consecutive meet at the OAC Championships (10/30) with time of 27:08 (on 6-kiolmeter course).

Prep: Earned four letters in track, three in cross country, and one is basketball…Was an All-League performer and Scholar Athlete.

Personal: Majoring in Biology/Pre-Med with the goal of becoming a pediatrician…Parents are Kevin Pickering and Teresa Walker…attended Liberty Center High School where she participated in cross country, basketball, and track…Leigh’s favorite hobby is rollerblading.
