President, Provost Invite Faculty and Staff to Community Meeting January 26

Capital University President Denvy A. Bowman and Provost Richard M. Ashbrook recently invited all faculty and staff to attend the first community meeting of 2012, set for 3:30 pm Thursday, January 26, in the Bridge of Learning. The meeting will precede the Faculty Senate meeting, which will begin at 4 pm in the Bridge. Employees are invited to attend both meetings. Neither meeting is open to the public.
Community meetings are intended to foster broad community dialogue about institutional topics. As in the past, a portion of the meeting will be reserved for open dialogue and discussion.
The topics for the January 2012 meeting will include:
- Higher Learning Commission Self-Study Update
- Credit Hour Definition
- Faculty Qualifications Audit and Guidelines
- Enrollment and Financial Updates
- Campus Climate
- Five Year Financial Forecasting
