All traditional undergraduate students registered next fall for at least six credit hours automatically will be billed for the Student Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan offered by Capital for the 2011-2012 academic year.
Students covered under their parents' insurance plan, or who have other coverage, will need to complete an online waiver by September 9 to remove the $480 insurance charge from their student bill. The online waiver needs to be completed once every academic year a student is registered at Capital, and students who do not waive the insurance online automatically will be enrolled in the plan. Waiver Instructions
At www.studentinsurance.com, type in “Capital University” in the search box and click “Go.” On the next page click on “Waive Insurance” and complete the online waiver information. All the information you need should be available on your current health insurance card. You must receive a return email from Pearce & Pearce Inc. with a confirmation number in order for the waiver to be complete.

Access to the online waiver is currently available and will stay open until the waiver deadline of September 9, 2011.
