Crusader Athletics Update – Monday, October 1, 2012

One Capital University team wrapped up its fall season last week as eight other teams competed, with six of those teams continuing competition during the school’s Homecoming 2012 week.


McCarthy Named OAC Player of the Week

Capital University junior Tim McCarthy earned Ohio Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week accolades, the league announced Monday, October 1.




Capital’s Unbeaten Streak Ends at Seven

COLUMBUS – The Capital University men’s soccer team was unable to get anything going offensively Tuesday, falling 4-0 against No. 10/25 Ohio Northern in an Ohio Athletic Conference affair at Bernlohr Stadium.


Crusaders Look to be on Point on Homecoming Saturday

The Capital University football team looks to get back on the winning track this Saturday in its Homecoming game against Heidelberg this Saturday at 2 pm at Bernlohr Stadium.


Capital Knocks Off No. 20 Ohio Northern

COLUMBUS – The Capital University women’s soccer team responded from a disappointing draw in its conference opener last week with a big victory Wednesday, defeating 20th-ranked Ohio Northern 2-1 in an Ohio Athletic Conference contest at Bernlohr Stadium.
