Crusader Athletics Update – Monday, September 17, 2012

Capital University athletic teams won all head-to-head contests they competed in last week, completing one of the most successful stretches in recent memory. Two teams also took part in tournaments with no head-to-head team matches.

Bosanac Selected OAC Special Teams Player of the Week

Capital University sophomore Travis Bosanac was named Ohio Athletic Conference Football Special Teams Player of the Week, the league announced Monday, September 17.

Fiorelli Tabbed OAC Player of the Week

Capital University senior Natalie Fiorelli has garnered Ohio Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week accolades, the league announced Monday, September 17.

Football Opens Road Schedule at Ohio Northern

The Capital University football team seeks a 2-0 start to the Ohio Athletic Conference season for the second consecutive year this Saturday at Ohio Northern for a 1:30 pm kickoff in Ada, Ohio.

Crusaders Place in Top Half at OAC Fall Invitational

The Capital University men’s golf team improved by seven strokes Monday to finish in fifth place at the two-day, 12-team Ohio Athletic Conference Fall Invitational at Red Hawk Run in Findlay, Ohio.
