News-Homecoming-2011-Court-250xCapital University's Homecoming 2011 weekend was a spectacular mix of fun, friends, family, school spirit and Capital pride.

News-Homecoming-2011-CapFest-250xGood weather made for a good turnout. Alumni young and old, and students past and present, turned out in droves to reconnect with each other and their alma mater October 7-9. More than 400 members of the Cap Family gathered for the All-Alumni Plaza Party on Friday night, CapFest on Saturday morning was packed with friends both old and new, and the Crusader football team played to a full stadium.

At half time, Capital's 2011 Homecoming Court was crowned — see our introduction to Homecoming King Alex Broshious and Homecoming Queen Taylor Clark below.

Later that night, as students donned their most mysterious masks for the masquerade ball at The Bluestone, members of the classes of ’66, ’71, ’76, ’81, ’86, ’91, ’96 and ’01 reunited during dinner at The Capital Center. The weekend came to an end with a Sunday morning chapel service in Kable Chapel.

We may not always be fortunate enough to enjoy such perfect weather, but rest assured that Homecoming weekend will always be filled with warm feelings of friendship and Crusader spirit.
