      Bryan Hurt is the author of Everyone Wants to Be Ambassador to France (2015), which was the winner of the Starcherone Prize for Innovative Fiction, and editor of Watchlist: 32 Stories by Persons of Interest (2016), which has been translated into Italian, Portuguese, and Turkish.

      His short fiction and essays have been published in the American Reader, Electric Literature, Kenyon Review, Los Angeles Review of Books, Lit. Hub, Recommended Reading, Tin House, and more.

      He lives in Columbus with his family and teaches creative writing at Capital University.
