Accounting students have numerous unique opportunities available to them.

Accounting Externship

The Accounting Externship is a chance for Junior level students to spend the first 2 weeks of their summer break at a partnering CPA firm. This experience is a great chance for students to “get their feet wet” and prepare for a senior internship.

Accounting Internships

Accounting students also have the opportunity to participate in Capital’s reputable Accounting Internship program. Students who meet the criteria are invited to on-campus interviews with Capital’s partnering CPA firms and are offered to spend 2 months of their senior spring semester working full time. All School of Management and Leadership students also have the option to seek out their own internship opportunities. Students must then adhere to the BUS 495 Syllabus guidelines in order to receive academic credit for an internship experience.
