Important Dates for High School Students
Now	Apply to Capital* (rolling until May 1, 2012) Decisions letters are mailed weekly.
December 2011	Scholarship notifications are sent (weekly until May 1, 2012)
February 2012	File the FAFSA and add Capital’s code 003023
March 2012	Financial Aid awards are available (weekly until May 1, 2012)
March 10, 2012	Visit campus at spring open house
May 1, 2012	Enrollment deposit deadline**
June 1, 2012	Housing application deadline*** Off campus housing form deadline
June 2012	Summer orientation and class registration will occur on various weekdays and weekends in June. Visit the orientation page for details.
July 2012	Health History, Immunization forms deadline Housing assignments mailed
August 23, 2012	Fall orientation program
August 27, 2012	Fall classes begin

*Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible to allow enough time to process the admission, financial aid and other paperwork required before classes begin. Students who begin the process earlier will have a wider selection of courses to choose from when registering and will be housed in the order the deposits are received.
**Students are encouraged to deposit by May 1, but deposits will be accepted for students after that time if space is available. Deposits are refundable until May 1, 2012, for entering full-time high school students starting classes in the fall semester.
*** Residence Life will accept housing applications after this date as long as housing is still available. Roommate requests are not guaranteed after this date.
