  • Mark your calendars for Homecoming Weekend, October 7-9, 2011.

    Our alumni and friends choose many different roads when they leave Capital University, but we hope you will follow the road back to your alma mater for Homecoming Weekend 2011.

    Activities for the mind, body and spirit are planned - everything from a golf outing and athletic events to a worship service and musical events. So plan now to renew old acquaintances, make new friends and take part in fun for all ages.

    Reunions

    Homecoming weekend will include reunions for the following classes:

    1966 • 1971 • 1976 • 1981 • 1986 • 1991 • 1996 • 2001 • 2006

    Lodging

    A block of rooms has been reserved at the Columbus Airport Marriott, 1375 N. Cassady Ave. Call 614-475-7551 or 1-800-491-5717 and tell them you are with Capital University to receive a single or double room for $109 per night. Reservations must be made by Sept.16 to receive the discounted rate. The hotel will provide a shuttle service, free of charge, to and from campus.

    Friday, October 7

    Golf Outing
    8:30 am

    Location: Foxfire Golf Course
    Shotgun start/scramble - Tee-off at 9:15 am
    Cost: $75 per player, includes greens fee, practice range, cart, bag drop, continental breakfast, buffet lunch, golf balls and prizes.
    Reservation deadline: September 30

    All Alumni Plaza Party
    4:30 - 7:30 pm

    Location: The Plaza at Mound St.
    Come share food and drink with classmates and other friends
    Music by MojoFlo, featuring Capital alumni Amber Fisher '08, George Barrie '10, Jake Levy '09, Kevin Bourassa '08, Walter Kolhof '09, Tim Magee '10 and Charles Scott.

    Second Annual Homecoming Cornhole Tournament

    Location: Lawn, between Mees Hall and Main Street
    2 person teams, 64 team limit
    Entry Fee $20 per team, includes T-shirt
    First prize: Customizable Cornhole Set
    All proceeds benefit the hosting organization, Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC)
