    Apply to Capital online.  It's free and easy to submit an application. (Watch the video to find out more!) And now is the perfect time to apply. 99% of accepted first-year students receive a scholarship to attend Capital and our average award last year totaled more than $18,000 renewable. We also have full-tuition scholarship competitions for qualified applicants. The admission application will double as your scholarship application. 

    Transfer Students

    Transferring to Capital starts with the admission application and right now we are working with students for January 2015*, Summer 2015 and Fall 2015. 99% of accepted full-time transfers receive a scholarship to attend Capital and we offer half-tuition awards to Phi Theta Kappa members and a full-tuition Transfer Fellowship competition for qualified applicants! The admission application doubles as your scholarship application so you find out if you are accepted and what your award opportunities will be right away. Over 100 students each year transfer to Capital from another college or university. *Special message for January 2015 nursing applicants: Admission will be granted to first-year level nursing candidates on the basis of academic criteria and space available.   

    International Students

    International students are a growing population at Capital University and we welcome you to apply online now or you can download an application for international students (PDF). We accept both first-year and transfer international students and offer an ESL program. You can read more about what we offer on our International Admission pages created just for you! The majority of accepted, full-time, undergraduate international students receive a scholarship to attend Capital and we even offer full-tuition scholarship competitions for qualified applicants. More information about awards will be sent after you apply.     Adult and Graduate Programs

    Adult Degree Completion Students (Evening Program)

    Working adult and transfer students interested in evening classes on Capital's main campus in Bexley can apply online now or download and complete the printed application.

    Bachelor of Science of Nursing Completion (RN to BSN)

    Register Nurses (RN) can complete their bachelor of science in nursing degree through Capital's School of Nursing. Fill out a RN to BSN application and reference form (PDF).

    Nursing Accelerated Program

    The School of Nursing is now accepting applications for the Nursing Accelerated Program. Download an application. Adults applying to Capital's Nursing Accelerated Program should use this recommendation form (pdf) along with the accelerated program's application.  

    Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

    Apply to Capital's School of Nursing for a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and choose from four different concentrates, including Nursing Education. Fill out the MSN application and reference form (PDF).

    Master in Business Administration (MBA)

    Apply online now for Capital's professional, evening MBA program. 

    Graduate Programs in the Conservatory of Music

    Capital offers three graduate music education programs. Earn your master of music in music education with an Instrumental, Jazz or Kodaly emphasis. Fill out a master of music in music education application.  

    Education Licensure Program

    Capital can help adults with a bachelor’s degree earn their Ohio teaching licensure in a variety of areas.  Apply online to the education licensure program today.. 

    Law School

    Capital's Law School offers juris doctorate, paralegal and other programs for nursing and business professionals. Apply to the Law School online. 

    Other Programs

    Non-Degree Students

    If you are interested in taking classes at Capital, but don't plan on working towards a degree, complete the Non-degree Student Application (PDF). Non-degree students may, at any time, apply for degree status at the university through the Admission Office or the Adult and Continuing Education Office.

    Summer Classes

    Capital offers classes in June and July. To check courses that are available and to register for the summer, contact The Summer Session at Capital. 

    Summer Institute in Science & Mathematics

    Capital's Summer Institute in Science and Mathematics is an accelerated program that's designed to help you complete a full year of coursework in just eight weeks. It's the only program of its kind in the United States, and it attracts motivated students from schools all over the country.
